I saw your post on /lit/ about this
>with submissions from /lit/ notables including Lewis Woolston and Lucas Bineville!
I'm pretty sure those two are only remembered by /lit/ for writing badly, if at all.

It looks nice anyway, so I'll try to give it a read. Is there a particular reason why I can't select the text? From the way it loads, it looks like it's embedded in there and not just a vector, but maybe I'm wrong (the filesize is also a little surprising).

You can select the text in the accessible version

well done
weird that there's no cover but nice that the table of contents actually matches the .pdf page #
No.5552 Anonymous>>5553
Congratulations. For the next issue let someone do some Latex formatting for clickable table of contents

Noted. The phone version has some links.

Open question to everyone who has read it, what is your favourite piece from issue 1? Why do you like it?

Also, what sort of things are you hoping to see more of in issue 2?

I thought it was a great community effort so I won't trash it, but my taste leans squarely non-fiction. I didn't find any of it personally gripping. I also prefer to write instead of read others' writing at this stage. So it goes.

The framing is the part I think is dumb. Like if someone reviewed a book of poetry by saying "I don't like poetry." I don't particularly like the handful of pieces I've read so far in this issue either, but it's not because I don't like poetry or fiction or non-fiction.

Stop trying to logically disprove a mild critique. This is the first edition of an e-zine that only has one word as its title and is explicitly open-ended. It doesn't say "Ventoux: The Tumblr Prose Files" so why are you trying to epically own me by saying I should have known what was inside before I opened the file?

The biggest problem with "Ventoux" is its gay name.

Good issue. The highlight was definitely Wrestle Tough.

When do you stop accepting submissions for issue 2
