Is it possible to submit in languages other than english? I would like to submit some things, mostly short essays and chapter excerpts from my novel.

Depends on the language. if I can find someone who reads that language to review it, then yes.
Which language is it?

its slovenian, altough I suppose it could be translated to English before submission; I just think there is already so much lingua franca lit out there it would be a waste of paper to add to that pile.

if you have anything that is reasonably short then I'd happily include it. I don't want to give over half the pages of the mag to something that realistically 97% of people won't be able to read, though :)

I mean I intend to include pretty much all sincere efforts at literary fiction but that still means I need the ability to read everything that's submitted, if you see what I mean.

I'd be interested in contributing, I never read & (it seemed to always attract discordfag drama to it) but put a couple poems into the old Lit Quarterly when that existed and I like the idea of these outsider collections. Detroit Lit Mag asked for submissions through /lit/ too and I liked the guy's style, he hand-drew shitty cover art and claimed he would print off each edition and hide them on the shelves of big chain bookstores.
Gave it a google though and there is already a French magazine called Ventoux. Did you name it after a mountain?

Are you going to set up a site for the mag or base everything out of here? I guess you'd be able to just make it a sticky or a general. Any plans for a physical printing?

The game plan is to set up a subdomain of this site to host the magazine, I haven't written the software yet but hopefully I will get a chance next week.

No plans yet for physical printing but I think it would be cool to do if there was the demand.

Things took a turn around the time when the editor came back from his post-issue 014 disappearance. But the first fourteen issues had a nice spirit to them, when it was all done via email or /lit/.

You could upload them to a print-on-demand service like Lulu (or even Amazon; this is what their KDP service is). Some of the old /lit/ collab projects used Lulu, and same for the & best-of. The cost is relatively low so long as you opt for black-and-white and keep the margin low/zero.

Yeah I thought about going the Lulu route, I was pleased with the quality of the & best of.

Whether fortunate or not a spontaneous event provoked Anon to pull focus from his intense aim to game. He's spent years on years with no break for movies or music solely enamored with playing videogames and gorging on anything that happened to be related whether it'd be obvious soundtracks or even rare slovakian-immigrant bootlegs of figurines. The event was a guy whipped his ass 8 years ago for stinking up the shop and on his way down he remembered the guy calling him a faggot gamer. For 8 years Anon only boiled at the surface of the moment. Fucking violent pieces of shit, everyone that accepts being normal should fucking die! Finally Anon woke up one day, most likely from a delicate, emotional dream where he pouted and looked at that moment differently.
Something is wrong with him, something's wrong with him and it's okay to fix himself. He's so attached to games that he didn't do anything extreme but he did start watching real porn so that he could show his friends that he's willing to open up and engage in their interests, that he's not just a stuck up asshole. It worked! He messaged his friend about the pornstar Kagney Linn Karter and how he wants to meet her and stick his cock in her ass for money. He spoke with his friend for hours and told him he's got to wack his cock before bed.
