You have literally just proven my point. The generation "Millennial" is a lie. There are in fact two separate generations - Xennials and Millennials. The former were the last generation to create any art. The latter did not do anything but consoom. Even the one subculture they did have ("scene") was a confused mishmash of previous eras. Musicians from scene and emo bands themselves are all Xennial.
I am 33 so squarely in the younger Millennial bracket that I have defined, so my point is not ego-serving.
