What exactly are you asking about? Some people react strongly and others do not. It's supposed to be ironic or indicative of something that some of those people come from both liberal- and conservative-affiliated groups?

What an unfortunate trap bipartisanism is, you literally cannot start your analysis of anything in front of you without step one being right-left. Talking about domestic American politics is futile because of this alone.

Pathetic view of history. Think in systems. Socialism flopped in the US because it was the explicit system of geopolitical rivals and because people attempted to run around the American system rather than reform its core flaws in a way that would make further social democratic reforms possible.

Also, left is a fucking French Revolution seating arrangement. The term has included liberals since the earliest days of liberals existing, in colloquial speech this has never changed, and attempts to reframe it differently is the linguistic cope of losers who do more identifying with labels than they do thinking about politics as it truly is. All such identities are halting progress, but these vaguest ones of all are particularly beyond useless.
