I came here after seeing his flair a day or two ago so those posts have some success rate in bringing people here.

The story of RSP is a real tragedy. Politically disparate and interesting community springs out of a controversial notionally-left, culturally-right-wing podcast. That community produces some kino, gets a number of hangers-on and reposters on twitter, instagram. Sub sees an influx of normies coming from funny screenshots to feel more in-touch. Take over everything and turn it into a place to "feel smart". Sopranos memes and wikipedia-philosophy references split up the lukewarm normie cultural takes and the nervous, compulsive defense of lib-left positions

There's rightoid and dumb and etc takes here, but honestly a little more activity from everyone else would flush them out. And some classic "ignore, hide, do not respond to" of bad threads. I'd love to chat with some greater diversity though, which would only occur through shilling. As I have heard in the environmental sector: "Dilution is the solution to pollution." Increase the number of other posters, the bad posters dwindle. Of course, as with pollution, it would better to not have the problem in tbe first place, but it's too late for that.
