The head of HR at my office has a Church of Satan coffee mug on his desk. There's nothing else in his office that is weird, and no other indication that he's a Satanist besides this mug. I suspect you're envisioning a fat, unwashed man-child with a ponytail, but this guy is just a regular-looking middle-aged man dressed in a business casual sweater and jeans.

CoS isn't real Satanism. Real Satanism is basically inverse Christianity with gnostic, hermetic, and Heathen syncretism. There's also New Age Satanism which is what O9A and its offshoots are, they believe in a lot of Jungian bullshit and can trace their origins back to the spiritual movements of the 60s.
