i have averaged 5 hours of phone screen time over the last few months. what do you guys use to fix your screen addiction that actually works?
I leave my phone powered off in a closet and only dig it out when I need to do 2 factor authentication.
Screen time block feature -- tell a friend to change the passcode. Then download the algorithm feed blocker I'm working on for desktop
Getting a flip phone and only using my smartphone for 2FA or any other annoying app-based reasons over wi-fi has helped curb my phone scrolling. However, I find myself just transitioning to scrolling on my laptop. It is easier to put down a laptop and walk away from it, or turn it off and stop yourself from scrolling while it's booting up, than it is to have the little devil box always around and nagging to be looked at.
If I had a screen time of 5 hours I'd consider it an amazing success, but then again I'm unemployed.
yeah OP is humblebragging
Just get off the phone lmao. if you wanted to then you could
Gray scale filter, kindle style reader with apps like sudoku so you can do more than read on it, and a fish tank. Fish tank worked the best for me, I can watch them swim all day long.
