Should I reconnect with my childhood best friend?
Post image
I've been really trying to make new friends near me for a while, but I still haven't been able to find anyone I really vibe with. I saw recently that my best friend from my whole childhood is back living in the area, and he still seems like the same chill dude I knew.

I'm considering reaching out cause we were super close back in the day, but the problem is that I haven't seen him since probably freshman year of highschool which was like 20 years ago, so idk what I'd even say.

Also we had experimented with sucking each other off back then, and that memory makes the whole endeavor feel kinda awkward.

It's only awkward if you make it awkward. From what I gather a plurality of young men have experimented in such ways in their youth, if that makes you feel any better about having attempted it.

It will probably not be awkward--not unless your sucking each other off had precipitated the end of your original friendship. Temporary confusion is common but not often talked about in the context of males.

I'm kinda in your same situation. Well, except the sucking. But I really want to have a friendship again with a friend from early high school. The issue is she is in another city and I send some instagram messages but nothing too profound. I guess I'll need to find friends but it's pretty difficult when you're in your 30's

It's not difficult at all. Don't invent things to block your way and you'll realize that sooner.
